The first materials a new business needs

Whether you are opening a shop, a hair salon, a restaurant, a practice or a service company, the first months are about trust. A customer who does not know you yet judges by what they see: a neat business card, a clear flyer, a tidy team outfit. These materials cost little and pay back quickly.

Here, in order, is what we advise entrepreneurs starting out in Douala and Yaoundé:

  • Business cards: your name, your trade, your WhatsApp number. The most cost-effective material of all.
  • Opening flyers: the launch offer, the address or a landmark, opening hours, the number.
  • A banner or a roll-up: to be seen from the street, a stand or the reception.
  • Team wear: logo polo shirts or T-shirts, to inspire trust and advertise as you move around.
  • Labels and packaging if you sell products: your brand leaves with the customer.

The business card, still essential

In the digital age, the business card remains the simplest prospecting tool: you hand it over in three seconds, it stays in the wallet, and the customer finds you when they need you. A good card takes few words: name, job title, phone with WhatsApp, email, logo. The back can carry your services, a map or a QR code to your page.

Our cards are printed 85 × 55 mm on 350 gsm coated card, double-sided, within 24 hours of approving the proof. The larger the quantity, the lower the unit price: 500 cards are often the best choice for a new business.

The opening: bring people in from day one

A successful opening is prepared two weeks ahead. Hand out flyers in the neighbourhood with a time-limited offer (a discount, a gift for the first customers), put up a “Grand opening” banner visible from afar, and welcome people with a roll-up and a team dressed in the brand colours. Think social media too: the same visual on the flyer, the WhatsApp status and the Facebook page.

No logo or design yet?

It is common at the start, and not a problem. You can start from one of our templates by trade and customise it online in a few minutes. If you want a bespoke identity, a workshop designer creates your logo and materials: you get a quote within 24 working hours, with two rounds of changes included. Your identity will then be the same on all your materials, from cards to bags.

Frequently asked questions

How many business cards should I order at first?

500 cards is the best quantity-to-price ratio for a new business. If your details may change, start with 100.

Can you create my logo?

Yes. A workshop designer proposes a logo and adapts it to all your materials. Quote within 24 working hours.

Do you make shop signs and panels?

We print banners and roll-ups. For an illuminated sign or a rigid panel, ask for a quote: we work with partners.

Can I pay in instalments?

Payment is made on receipt of each order. For a full pack, we can deliver in stages: let us talk about it on WhatsApp.
